The People’s Bank of China (PBoC) has announced that banks have stopped issuing bi-labelled credit cards, putting an end to a 14-year-old practice of joining the UnionPay label with either Visa or MasterCard labels, and separating transactions of the financial services.

所謂“雙標卡”，指的是一張信用卡上印有兩個發卡機構的標志，比較常見的是銀聯+VISA或是銀聯+MasterCard，持卡人在消費時，可以選擇卡片上簽發機構的網絡或終端。按國際慣例，一張卡只能歸屬于一個銀行卡組織，并由該卡組織負責轉接清算。相對應地，只有一個發卡機構的叫單標卡。
